This week we are doing blog post #6 for the Edublog’s Challenge. It is called Volunteering Monterey County. We had to choose an organization to volunteer in or get involved with. It was a very hard choice because I really like to help, but I finally chose the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center or the DHHSC. I chose this organization because I already no a little bit of sign language so it could be a little easier. The DHHSC is an organization that helps people that are deaf or have trouble hearing. The DHHSC has had events like once they went to eat pizza. They also have P.R.A.I.S.E kids classes which is in Fresno. P.R.A.I.S.E or Parents Raising Awesome Independent Safe and Energetic Kids is about DHHSC helping kids who are deaf by having them do fun activities and finding them friends and all kinds of stuff. So, if anyone ever asks you if you want to help in the DHHSC then check this website DHHSC . Thanks for reading, Bye!

Hello this week in History we were learning about the Persian Wars. In this blog post I am going to write about how life would be to be a Persian soldier fighting a Spartan.
I am a Persian soldier and iv’e been in some of the greatest battles in history. The one that I remember most was the battle of Thermopylae. There was 7,000 Spartan soldiers and 250,000 of us. The Spartans stood up to us and fought until the death. The way we won the battle was because one of the Spartans told us a trail where we can sneek up behind them. When they noticed that we were going to sneek up on them they decided to send most of there soldiers back to safety and only 300 soldiers stayed.
The war was frightening we my hands were trembling because I knew that they wouldn’t back down from this war. So many bodies on the floor that I couldn’t see the ground. The smell of death fills the air. The taste of blood in my mouth. The sound of people screaming. The feel of my weapon in my hand. The sight of Spartans dead bodies. This is a victory for Persia. That was when I was in one of the greatest wars ever.

Hello my name is Alejandro and this week in math we learned about identifying angles like obtuse angles, acute angles, and right angles. An obtuse angle is more than 180 degrees. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees. and a right angle is exactly 90 degrees. A scalene triangle which has no congruent sides. An isosceles triangle which has two congruent sides. An equilateral triangle which has all sides congruent. We also learned how to find the perimeter and the area of a shape. To find the perimeter of a shape you have to add all the sides. To find the area of a shape you have to you have to multiply.

Dear Mom,
I wanted to tell you that I am glad that I am a spartan. The spartan military has made me a more productive citizen. The government here is a great. It is way better to have one ruler, so we can make decisions faster. It is also better because we don’t have to have a debate. I am also proud to grow up in this society, where I can show my athletic abilities. I am doing really good over here. The government is really strong and now that I am able to go into war I think it will improve.
Athens has a democracy while we have an oligarchy. They have no chance against us. I am looking forward to becoming old here surrounded by the same people until I die. Well that’s all I need to say mother. I will soon see you good bye.

Hello i’m Alejandro and in this blog post we were assigned to create a fake Facebook page about what my life would be like 10 years from now. It is so real I even had to put conversation’s with my friends that also have blog’s. I had to put where I would live, work in, and what college I went to 10 years from now in my fake Facebook. The information that I put in my fake Facebook was obviously not true. I also put the in some of my friends in my Facebook page.
As you can see I have many plans ten years from now. I live in Spain and i’m a professional soccer player. I play in a team called Barcelona. They are from Spain. I am still single right now but I have two dogs, and you know what they say “a dog is a mans best friend.” I college that I went was USC, also known as University of Southern California. I still hang out with some of the friends that I use to have in middle school. It is hard because i’m in a different country, but I eventually find a way. Well that is what my fake Facebook might look like 10 years from now. Hopefully this really happens. Hope you enjoyed!

For this post i’m talking to you about my life if I were 65.
I am 65 and I have accomplished many things. I went to the college that I wanted to go to. I have a great job as working as a Technician. I signed up for three colleges that I really wanted to go to. First one was Stanford but I got denied. The second one was UCLA but they also denied me. The last one was USC and they finally accepted me. I started to study for that until they accepted me to be a technician. I worked really hard but this is my last day because I am going into retirement. Now that I am out of work I am free for a lot of things but i’m bumbed because I worked there for 30 years.
I am now out of work but if I could go back to the past I would want to try harder in school and get better grades. I would also try to be friends with all the enemy’s that I had. If you need tips just try hard in school, apply to good colleges, and try to be friends to everybody because you on live once and your going to remember them.

Confucius was a great teacher. He was born on 551 B.C, and died on 479 B.C. He was a thinker, a political figure, educator, and founder of the Ru school of Chinese thought. He lived in Lu but then moved somewhere near Qufu in southeastern Shandong. Confucianism is not a religion in the traditional sense. He believed in spirits and the supernatural but was not interested in them. Three key principles are emphasized in Confucius teachings: the principles of Li, Jen, and Chun-Tzu. He was important in China because of his ideas, saying’s, and his teachings.
I think that if I was in a society following the ideas of Confucius, it would be a little hard but not impossible. I think it would be a good idea because it teaches you decorous, courtly behavior, duty to rulers, parents, and older brothers. He also taught that “you should not do to others, what you would not want done to yourself.” “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” Confucius 551 B.C-479 B.C
